Music - Avenged Sevenfold

Avenged Sevenfold Alias A7X grup musik asal california ini sudah cukup di kenal di indonesia, dengan hits2 mereka seperti Seize the day, bat country, Beast and the Harlot, Dear God. Grup yg beraliran heavy metal ini di bentuk di Huntington Beach, California pada tahun 1999. Personelnya terdiri atas M. Shadows (vokal), Johnny Christ (bass), Synyster Gates (lead guitar), Zacky Vengeance (guitar), dan The Reverend (drum). Serta dua mantan personelnya Dameon Ash dan Justin Sane yang telah hengkan dari grup ini.

Grup Metal yg sudah 2 kali manggung di jakarta pada 07 agustus 2007 dan 22 Oktober 2008, telah mengeluarkan 4 album yaitu, ‘Sounding the Seventh Trumpet’ yang dirilis pada 2002, kemudian ‘Walking the Fallen’ pada 2003, dan album ketiga yang dirilis pada 2005 yaitu ‘City of Evil’. Sementara album keempat mereka rilis pada 2007 lalu.

A7X menempati urutan papan atas dalam urutan grup musik dunia yang dikutip majalah Rolling Stones sesaat setelah mereka merilis Walking The Fallen

Dalam album kedua grup ini tampil bersama Axl Rose, Kylie Minogue dan Chris Cornell. Nada2 Lagu Evenged sevenfold memang rada2 miripan dengan seniornya GnR di dekade 90 –an. Mereka meneruskan tradisi dari GnR, Queen, dan Led Zeppelin, dengan menambahkan unsur orchestra di sebagian lagu mereka dan masih terdengar keras!!simak saja The Wicked Ends atau Beast and the Harlot, jangan lupa aksi solo dari Synyster Gate di Seize the Day yang mengingatkan kita pada Slash.

Mereka mulai dikenal oleh pecinta music rock tanah air lewat album ketiga mereka ‘city of Evil’. Gak heran kalo konser mereka di jakarta 22 oktober lalu terbilang sukses, enam hari sebelum hajatan di mulai, tiket sudah terjual habis alias (sold out). Jibriel yg di motori fahri albar anak dari rocker Ahmad albar (God Bless, Gong 2000) sebagai band pembuka pada acara tersebut.
